Golden Globe 2021 sukses digelar pada Senin (1/3/2021) siang waktu Indonesia atau Minggu (28/2/2021) malam waktu Los Angeles dan New York City, Amerika Serikat. Sejumlah nama pun pulang menjadi yang terbaik dalam acara yang digelar secara virtual karena pandemi tersebut.
Mulai dari Film Nomadland yang berhasil menjadi Film Terbaik. Mendiang Chadwick Boseman meraih piala Golden Globe pertama dan terakhirnya berkat film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Untuk kategori serial, The Crown menjadi serial terbaik Golden Globe untuk kedua kalinya setelah memenangkan piala di kaegori yang sama pada 2017. Kemenangan The Crown pun berlanjut kategori aktris dan aktor serial terbaik, dan aktris pendukung serial terbaik.
